Competition giveaway - ELC Wooden Tea Shop worth £100!

This fabulous wooden tea shop is a brand new ELC product!  It is double sided - with the tea shop on one side, and an oven to bake the cakes in on the other side.  It also comes with a cash register with pull-out till, some cookies and a baking tray.

ELC are offering this gorgeous product as a competition prize to one of my lucky readers!

All you have to do to enter is follow/join this site with Google Friend Connect (in the sidebar to the right), and then leave a comment at the end of this post telling me what the last cake you baked was.  (Mine was a 'miracle' chocolate sponge cake that you make in a tea cup and bake in the microwave for 1 minute 10 seconds - I had high hopes for it, but it was like a bullet, and pretty much inedible)

The competition will close on Tuesday 18th October at 9pm when all entries will be placed into a draw and a winner picked out.  Please remember to leave your contact details (either email or twitter id) so that we can contact you if you win.

To increase your chances of winning you can also post your answer on my Twitter page (and follow!), which will mean you'll be entered into the draw twice!

Good luck!

Oh how gorgeous is that! Yesterday I made chocolate cup cakes with my little granddaughter who is 2. This morning we decorated them with butter cream with hundreds and thousands mixed in, and topped with smarties, chocolate drops, and blue (edible!) glitter! By 11am she was completely hyper from all the sugar, butter, and chocolate she'd 'tested' for me, and was riding round the lounge on my back - no wonder my knees are shot!

I think the last ones were probably muffins which I used to make religiously every few days, using up anything in the fridge from orange juice, cream, yoghurt, jams.... anything works. I do prefer good old English puddings though and am planning lots of Spotted Dick and Jam Roly Poly with custard... The colder weather is welcome if it means I can bake those! @UtterlyBumpty

This is so beautiful! Fingers crossed...

My last cakes were at the weekend as a treat for the little ones. All of Imogen's cousins were coming (5 other girls!) so she helped me and we made marshmallow rice crispy cakes (Nigellas recipe). Was great fun (and sticky) and we sprinkled them with edible pink sparkles so they looked extra girlie! I'm not sure what Nigella was thinking though as they are a recipe for hyper kids, so I had to limit the number eaten! The rest were enjoyed by my work colleagues this week. Never too old for rice crispy cakes! Am following your blog as emy,

Thanks so much, Emily McMillan

We made a lucious lemon cake, most went on the floor and alot of it got eaten before it went into the oven (I have two small children age 3 and 1) - But they both loved the drizzling and did that very well with both wooden spoons and hands. Funny though, as they didnt fancy any of the finished cake. I think they were full up!

We also copied Nigellas recipe for green cakes, lots of lovely green veg blended into patties rolled in breadcrumbs and fried. They loved this and like her children ate lots before hand too. Not sweet but definately worth a mention as they are awesome!!

The last cake I baked was recently for my sons 5th birthday. It was a dairy free, (he can't have cows milk) soya free, (sensitive) gluten free, (just so happens...) chocolate cake, which also had tonnes of courgette in. Topped with a "butter" style chocolate icing and lots of sweeties. Might sound horrible, but the whole family loved it and he loved it. So nice to give him a treat like that because you just can't buy that sort of cake.
