I usually worry about things like dropping my keys down a drain and not being able to get into the house, falling down the stairs in the event of a power cut and lying at the foot of them whilst Mac merrily empties the medicine cabinet into his mouth, forgetting that I've left the gas on and waking up in the morning(!) to find my kitchen (and most of my house)in a different post code......even when David is in the house!Nunhead Mum of Onehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00404470570265084130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7862249258643149376.post-55336112233759893772008-08-01T15:42:00.000+01:002008-08-01T15:42:00.000+01:00Good god girl, stop trying to be Superwoman! Introduce some tantalising delight she can only get when daddy is not around (we have maaaany of these, like breakfast in PJs, dinner in front of TV, weeing in the garden, etc etc. He's away a lot, ok?) and thenceforth all will be wonderful and you can relax slightly.

If the comforter really is on the way out, rejoice. I have been dragging "Old Mimi" ("I LIKE the bad smell. It's smells of wee and sick" Er, yes. Indeed.) across Europe for six years now, with many heart-stopping "oh no we've lost it and the rest of the world thinks it's a stinking rag!' moments.

Hope the time goes quick. It sucks and believe me I know!Wafflehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02907816708805451116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7862249258643149376.post-8651031453464165482008-08-01T12:27:00.000+01:002008-08-01T12:27:00.000+01:00hi beccers, i have been busy thinking up some sui...hi beccers, i have been busy thinking up some suitable treats for the last month! -i've got to make it good!Elsie Buttonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03768998561385293241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7862249258643149376.post-59005525200091182392008-08-01T12:08:00.000+01:002008-08-01T12:08:00.000+01:00Do you get a treat in return? In our house it's something along the lines of "oh you went away with all your friends so it's only fair that I should be able to go buy myself things I don't need/ go and have a massage/ demand that you rub my feet/ insist on watching the worst girliest film i can find/ don't have to do any rubbish jobs for at least 3 weeks* (*Delete as appropriate, or go the whole hog and demand all of them!)

Sounds like girl time is really fun.
