Bouncing baby

Yesterday afternoon I needed to send some emails so I set Betty up with a puzzle, and put Dolly in the bouncing chair.

I sat down at my computer and began typing. When I turned back towards Dolly just moments later, Betty was vigorously bouncing her, almost catapulting her right out of the chair, and nearly giving me a heart attack. But both Betty and Dolly were looking straight at me and grinning from ear to ear.

Yes, you think they are as fragile as glass, then it's a shock to see the second one enjoying, actually enjoying, being bounced around by elder sib.

We used to have similar episodes including the bouncy chair catapulting and trying to carry her brother across the room by his head, or just a couple of limbs. Lovely sibling bonding. Ahem.

OMG. I am afraid to leave her on her own in her bouncy chair, because she could get uncomfortable. Guess I really have to learn how to relax a little, if I ever want to have a sibling for little L. Although this seems to be very unlikely to me at the moment anyway.

I think you are outnumbered. They have already worked out a strategy to do whatever they like the moment your back is turned, and the joint grinning from ear to ear is just too funny.

My 2 do that all the time! They are like beavis and butthead, and laugh silly when my 2 year old thinks that the 11 months old could be a great horse and tries to ride him whil he crawls... I am starting prozac very soon I think...

Uh-oh... you're in trouble!! There's two of them being mischievous now!

Don't worry though, once when I was a baby my sister decided I was "sitting in her chair" and decided the only thing to do to remedy that situation was to "carry" me across the room and lay me in the middle of the floor.
I was alright though, kids are surprisingly resilient!

(Note: for "carry" read drag!)
